DKP Rules
Overview: DKP is awarded on a point basis. Only 25-man content from Naxx onwards (so called "progress raids") will award DKP if you attend a raid, down a boss, be on-time and/or perform exceptionally well in a raid. DKP will be awarded in: Current DKP system We use gsDKP, a web based dkp system, you can read about our dkp standings here. We use an addon for bidding DKP on loot called BidBot, items are announced in Raid Chat. You whisper your bid to the Raid Leader, the numbers you bid only, the RL can't see your bid and BidBot announce the three highest bidder and the winning bid will be awarded the loot by Master Looter. From the item is posted you got 20 seconds to bid. You may only bid one time.
- Trialists will only recieve 50% of the dkp during the raids until given full membership. - New Trialists will be given an initial amount of 50DKP when they join Alpha - By "being on time" means you are there and accepted the invite 15 minutes before the raid is about to start. This is not only for you, but also for the RL so he/she can make the group set up and perhaps explain some things before the raid starts. Our goal is, that when the raid starts 20:00, everyone should be ready and inside the raid instance, ready to start.
- You can get minus dkp if you bid on an item you need and don't have enough dkp for it, but only for one item, and you won't be able to get more minus dkp until you have worked up you're dkp to plus again. You will only be able to get minus and win the item if no one else bids who got enough dkp for the bid for that item. You can at most get minus 30dkp. Note that, the dkp will only be put in to your dkp account after finishing the whole raid! Leaving without notice will end up with no dkp from that nights raid to your account. You can come after the raid with an explanation about why you had to leave, real life emergency, and if the officers find your explanation valid, they can put in the dkp in your account, note that you then won't get dkp for bosses you haven't killed, no dkp for a smooth raid, and no dkp for staying whole raid. If you have notified the RL before the raid starts that you can't stay for the whole raid, yet he/she has chosen to bring you to the raid for the time you can stay, you will when you leave get dkp for what you have attended in the raid that night. Raid Sign ups Raids (25-man content) will be posted on our web site in the Raid Calendar, where you also sign up for the raids. If you haven't signed up you're not safe to be accepted for that specific raid. If you need to leave the raid earlier please make a note about it in the Raid Calendar when you sign up or you will get penalty for leaving without letting RL know in advance. (Ofc we know that irl things can happen) In the event that you do not sign up for the raid, yet show up to attend, you will not be given the DKP for being on time for the raid. Awarding of bonus DKP: Do note that it is at the Raid Leader's discretion to award additional DKP to a raid which has done exceptionally well (e.g. fast clearing of trash mobs, all bosses 1-shotted). This is an incentive to spur raiders to perform at high standards consistently instead of wasting time wiping to get their gear warmed-up. First Kill bonus DKP will be awarded for the first kill of a new boss becouse of the effort and the needed wiping to down the boss. The smooth raid 10dkp is given if the RL and DKP manager believes the raid has gone unusually smooth and wants to give those extra points to all that stays the whole raid. It is totally up to the RL and DKP manager to decide to give these points, nagging will only resolve in the opposite, they won't give out those points. Penalties It is up to the RL/DKP manager's discretion to deduct points from a raider that is seen being intentionally disruptive to the raid and/or causing wipes on bosses on farm. If the RL/DKP manager/CL's notice you are not prepared for the raid (brought regents, buff food, pots, flasks, have read up on tactics) they can decide to take away 2 dkp or more from that characters dkp account. If you signed up as being available for a raid, yet failed to show up on that day itself, without informing anyone (GM/RL/CL) that you are not able to make it, 2 dkp or more will be deducted from that characters dkp account. Same goes for if you're online, has signed up and not bother to join the raid anyway. Every time RL/CL/DKP manager notice someone is unannounced afk, 1 dkp or more will be taken away from that characters total dkp. Explanations can be told when you come back from your afk if some irl emergency happend and you had to leave and that will be taken in consideration. Note that Guild Master, Marshall, Officers and Class Leaders do communicate and notice players that often goes afk without notice. Does this happens a lot, other measures could be taken, such as loose of rank or worst case if it is a big problem lost of membership in this guild. Items Item values may be raised as we progress into higher instances and the total amount of dkp pool in the guild gets higher, to match our rate of progression. An item that is not PVE-oriented (more PVP, e.g. with resilience) will probably have its item value lowered.
Latecomers/Early leavers You, the raider, not your CL or RL, should /w whoever doing DKP that day when you JOIN the raid (that means when the invite to the raid pops up, not when you get subbed in), or when you leave the raid (for whatever reasons, just state your reason). If you know before the raid that you need/might need to leave earlier, it's up to you to let the one responsible for the raid know this, so he or she can take that in consideration for the raid set up. See under penalties what happens if you leave early/unannounced afk/being late. Miscellaneous Epic gems are to be deposited into guild bank or handed over to RL/ARL/CL to be gbanked, also recipes, designs, patterns which are boe and gives bop or boe items will be deposited in the guild bank, either to be sold and gold deposited in the guild bank gold, or to be handed out to a member who needs the item if it's a bop item, or to someone trusted in the guild to craft the item for others if it's a boe item. Green items will also be deposited in guild bank for disenchant so that the guild bank will be able to provide for enchants for guild members main spec gear they use for raiding. BOE epics are put in the guild bank and will be handed out if someone needs it for his or hers mainspec, if not asked for within 10 days it will be sold and the money gained from it will be put in Guild Bank. Sometimes it is inevitable that a raider has to raid with his/her alt so that the raid can carry on (e.g. A tank needs to come with an alt which is healer such that the raid can continue). However, the player who's using his/her alt is sacrificing a lot because potential gear that he/she needs could be forsaken since he/she's on the wrong character. Hence, in order to cater to the nice people who are willing to sacrifice for the guild, every time someone is asked to play their alt to ensure raid progression, they will have the opportunity to transfer the earned DKP to their Main Character. NOTE: You DO NOT choose or claim to play your alt for the 25-man raid, it must be a RL/ARL request. Mains always goes before Alts, alts only gets to come to ensure the raid to continue! If a respec is required for the raid to be able to continue, the player who respecs will get his respec payed for by GuildBank. It is the RL and no one else who ask of a player to respec, it is up to the RL to choose whom to ask. The asked player can refuse to respec, but with the possibility that the raid might not be able to continue then. Only players with sufficient gear will be asked to respec. Note that the respec is only for that specific raid in question. If you wish to change Main Spec, you can read more about those rules in our Guild Rules. Respecs which are not asked for by RL will not be payed for, and not necessarily allowed for that raid. You're invited to the guild for one spec, not all possible specs your class can have, if you're a healer and respecs to being a dps'er without it being required, we all by sudden lacks healers for the raid. If you wish to change main spec, further reading is in the guild rules, or talk to an officer about it. Requirements for getting the respec payed for:
Trialists are not allowed to loot until they are given full membership. Loot will only be awarded when no one needs the item. To be a member of this guild and raid with us you need to know your class, have gear for progress raids (you can check beimba) and know what to do in raids, you also need to follow our Guild Rules. Note that it is always up to the Raid Leader, Class Leader, and DKP manager to decide when to award bonus dkp and when to take away dkp from a player who hasn't behaved according to these rules. In any arguments Guild Master, Marshall and Officers ALWAYS got the final say. As all members they also need to obey these rules and any abusement of power will be punished by Guild Master. This list will be updated as more problems/solutions appear. Officers, Marshall and Guild Master reserves the rights to change these rules at any time due to what they believe is for the best for the guild. It is up to every member to keep themselves updated about the rules.
